Course Description
The course will start at our family farm in Pegram, TN that connects to the Cheatham Wildlife Games Reserve. This park offers 20,000 acres of beautiful rolling trails and stunning ridge-line views. The course has a good mixture of rugged Jeep trails and single track trails through moderately technical terrain.
50k Course (31 miles) – When I first started building this course it was my least favorite of the three. I have now moved this run to the top as it’s variety is unmatched and I absolutely love the top section that we carved out of the forest from old logging roads and a little bit of imagination. Your going to get very wet so know that you will cross some wide streams. We will put up rope as these steams never get crossed and are very slippery. With the wet also comes so pretty scenic landscape. The beauty will be on full duty for this run so enjoy! The run will have 4,795 feet of elevation gain with an average slope of 4.5%. It will start at the southeast section of the park and venture north west until coming back again.
25k Course (15.5 miles) – This course will have around 2,700 feet in gain with an average slope of 6.5%. Same as the 50k but cut by half. Expect to have 50% trail, with 50% Jeep roads and one creek crossing
10k Course (6.2 miles) – This course is mainly single-track trail with 1,568 feet of gain and an average slope of 8.8%. It’s a tough course, but lots of fun in a short amount of time.
Aid Stations
Aid Stations – There will be an aid station roughly every 5 miles on this course. Aid station will include Gatorade, water, and food.
Cut off times per aid stations
This is a hard cut off time and all runners arriving after the given times will be asked to drop. Please be respectful of race officials if you are asked to drop – no discussion. You will be provided with transportation back to the start/finish.
10 mile Aid Station cutoff time is 3:20
20 miles Aid Station cutoff times is 6:40
All runners must complete the race in 10 hours.
Entertainment and Food!
We will provide live music, food, and beer after the race so get ready to run and relax with friends. If you have any questions please be sure to email us at.
